As a Barefoot GP, you'll work in our own up-to-date medical Centres in mainstream Australian locations in the states of Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
Our Barefoot GP program allows you the choice of working in three states. Click below to discover 20 of our medical Centre locations and quick links to local tourism sites.
As a part of this program, we will work with you to ensure you have 3 consecutive days off in a row each week to explore and do as you please. In exchange, we require that each barefoot GP works:
On a 15 month contract (short and sweet so you don't have to be afraid of a long commitment. We also have many options for you to stay permanently if you want to stay!)
You will rotate locations every 3-6 months. Our Program Manager will work with you individually to develop your itinerary before you come to Australia - no surprises!
You'll work for 38 hours a week which includes 3 evening shifts (6pm-10pm) and 10 hours over the weekend. This will give you a wide range of exposure to different patient types across our Centres.
