"Hello. I'm Amanda Sadek.

"Since completing GP training in the UK I have held various positions including a salaried, locum and portfolio GP.

"Over the course of my career I have developed a particular interest in family planning/sexual and reproductive health, and have worked in a sexual health clinic in the UK. Teaching is another keen interest of mine, and I have pursued this by working for Compass Reach, where I held training sessions for mental health nurses. I have also had an active role at the University of Leeds in screening and interviewing medical school applicants.

"I now practice in Australia with Primary, who have sponsored my 457 Visa. I chose Primary as I was drawn to the set-up of their clinics. The availability of on-site pathology and radiology allows me to provide more holistic care to my patients.

"Working at my centre has been highly rewarding. I've enjoyed developing friendships within the team, and the Centre is well-equipped and offers a safe environment for patients. I have also been able to continue my personal development by taking part in clinical work including minor surgery and coil insertions.

"The rota flexibility that Primary offers has allowed me to explore my passion for travelling across Australia. I have also had time to pursue my other hobbies such as rock climbing. Cycling has also become a recent interest and a part of my daily commute to work.

"I look forward to speaking to you about how Primary Health Care has helped me fulfill my ambitions and perhaps, yours as well."
